Help. My log home looks like it gets shot with shot guns. These damn beetles are destroying my home. What do I do? I sanded my entire house 2 years ago. Coated it with bug killer re stained it. And they keep digging holes.
Help. My log home looks like it gets shot with shot guns. These damn beetles are destroying my home. What do I do? I sanded my entire house 2 years ago. Coated it with bug killer re stained it. And they keep digging holes.
did you leave any of the old holes? they seem to come back to look for their old holes. After I killed them all, I filled in the holes with silicone, and topped it off with wood filler.
For bug spray, I'm used Bee-gone last year in a backpack sprayer. I'm going to stain the house soon (not sure when, but before spring next year), and this time I'm going to mix it in with the stain - they say it'll last longer that way.
