    Had a great chinking weekend!! got 3 walls DONE (N, E, W) and the last side is 2/3 done!! weather was GREAT! THANKS to all who were able to help out:)

  2. can't wait til chinking weekend!!!

    gonna head up to the build thursday afternoon to finish preparations for our guests. CAN'T WAIT!!
    so for now, here are some pictures of the prep we did before chinking can happen

  3. working on the garage

    by snow fall 2011, we'd gotten the roof on the garage and the floor poured. early spring, we'd been working on getting the walls power washed.

    after taking a break in June to put up the walls of the cabin, we got the garage borated and this past weekend we were able to stain most of garage (of the 8 walls ... 4 interior and 4 exterior...we got 7 walls done).

    used Outlast Q8 on the exterior and Sashco's Capture on the interior.

    next weekend will do the ...

  4. The Inside of the temp house that is the pathway to my log home

    so after signing the papers i ventured a peek inside and yes, an old saying is this... "you can tell the inside of the house by looking at the back yard" (!!!)

    yep, that's true! especially in this case!
