Because I remember the Covid 2020 'tariff.' When things jumped in price. When the wait time for some critical products and parts were 18-20 months +-.

2020-2022: Trailer prices jumped more than 20%. Some Honda small engine prices were unlisted, because the prices were rising too fast. Computer parts? Make a list and wait. Et cetera. That's a disease induced financial 'tariff.'

And the production / shipping delays, those were a 'Time Tariffs.' One cannot replace ...

Here's why I might never invest in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is heavily symbolic and truly incomprehensible (in it's current incarnation anyways).

Take the one that currently gets the most press, Doge. Here's what might be invested in that coin.

1. It started with a misspelling, Doggy. At root it is a 'dog coin.'
2. It started with a Kindergarten teacher.
3. There was once a political position in Italy called Doge, it lasted for more than 1000 years.

I was today years old when I realized that both Starbucks in Battlestar Galactica had almost complete opposite characteristics from the Starbuck in Moby Dick.

That might yield insight about art, culture shift, and human relationships.

But all three share one trait, without which their characters could not work. It's the same trait that Starbucks rewards: loyalty.
(And arguably Star-lord from Guardians of the Galaxy is simply another Starbuck.)
