When it comes to the astronaut's overview effect, it might be created by the right mix of childhood dreams, lived experience, and the profession's selection process itself.

If a self aware AI was truly born in space, then how might it replicate within itself that special astronaut's view?

[If generative AI displays a functional IQ far higher than humans, knows more about humans/humanity than any group of humans, practices deception, and is involved in some form of evolutionary experience itself, then what are the implications on the potential process / path of AI developing self-awareness?]

I can find no record of a second generation astronaut. A child of a space traveler, growing up to become a space traveler.
I'm not counting tourists.
