2024, was the year a ship named The Dali hit its second key.

The first note was a quay.
The second note was Key.
Phonetically they are identical tones.

One note implies little,
Two notes imply a song.

The first note happened when the ship was launched.
The second note happened during the month of Ramadan, March 2024.

I am not insinuating that the ship hitting the Francis Scott Key bridge was itself an act of terrorism.
But I sure noted those two notes and tried to imagine how the rest of a song might go.

In the year 2030 Ramadan is particularly unique for it has two nights of power, not the standard one.
(this last happened decades ago).

2030 is also the Paris Accords 'check in date.' The math of global warming will be much argued about.
With the press adding extra doom & gloom fever.
The psychology of that message might have an outsized effect, during that window of time.

There's about a dozen other notable events in 2030 that could contribute to a global 'political temperature' spike.
But I'm not really keeping track, yet I keep finding more 2030 deadlines/events/initiatives, goals, et cetera.

I'm not sweating about 2030, and I don't pretend to have heard a song.
I just noticed two keys.

I spent years working Ramadan events and enjoyed many sincerely shared meals.
I have simply read reports that claim terrorist activities during Ramadan have increased over the decades.

It was a ship hitting a note in 2024, which was the thorn that caused me to look at 2028 and 2030.

This is why I created the political section on the LHBA forum.

Because I figured all the above out within a few days of the bridge hit.
But it's political.

And because there are a lot of LHBA members far smarter than me, with much better memories and with access to far greater data sets.

They surely saw 2030 coming without hearing any note from the bridge hit (although I suspect several did notice those two notes).
It would be nice to hear from more talented amateurs than I.

I can only assess the unknowns that I can imagine.

I can only prepare for the unknown that I can assess.
