Hi,

I'm currently following the ecat engergy device development quite closely. Swedish scientists have been down there and confirmed the results and right now it is even possible for companies to order larger heating plants.. but they are making a smaller 'home device' that will come out next year :) I think they said it will cost like 100$ annually to refill the device.

Its basically some kind of low temperature nuclear reaction between nickel and hydrogen into copper+ energy . It's a breakthrough and apparently they are making some electric generator for it also hopefully...

Lets see in 2013.. anyone else has had any experience with ecat?

Go into
www.ecat.com to check it out and there you can see interviews etc with the researcher also.

Nasa is also doing research on it but perhaps they are a bit behind in the 'practical' sense compared to the italian scientist

Forecasting the future of technology tends to shorten the time period of when we can expect something to hit the mass market. Affordable residential Cold fusion machines probably won't be available at Costco for the foreseeable future. But the muffins will keep us smiling while we wait.

I would recommend caution in regards to Mr. Rossi. If you dig a little deeper, you won't be quite so confident of his integrity.

HHO (hydrogen/oxygen) is very easy to separate from water and the supply is very abundant. Can be used anywhere fossil fuels are used. It can be used as the primary fuel source on small engines and it can be used as additional fuel source on vehicles. The technology for vehicles using 100% HHO was destroyed by those it would have hurt the most. Many folks are working on the technology to bring it back.

As I ponder with the decision to purchase PV panels this year, this thread appears. The proven technology of PV seems to rule this system not to be competitive with PV.

Thanks for all replies! Strange I did not get any emails regarding people posting replies.. but I'll try to update my settings, so sorry for late answer. Anyhow! :) I think that all your points contain valid thoughts and one can only hope that the e-cat comes out next year.... we also have to be aware of oil-industry-lobbyists that only try to prolong the inevitable: 'a new clean energy source' that will save this earth once and for all.. hopefully. Regarding hho that tech is not perfect.. storage of the hydrogen is the problem... there 'was' a solution to that too before the Chinese decided to raise margins on 'rare earth metals'.... check this site out for more info: www.switch2hydrogen.com ...in sweden a company has bought 'saab' (if anyone of you americans even know what that carbrand is ;) )... and they named the new company 'world electric vehicle' or something like that.. which sounds promising.. owners are 'japanese and chinese'.. hope they do good and provide us with cheap electric vehicles then..

hmm.. but why would they write something like this when a company is using a 1 megawatt plant from rossi already?? Isn't that proof enough? What is this site anyway? Who owns it? (oil industry [removed] perhaps?)
