Anyone ever watch the Cable show about the Oregon family of little people? They built an entire ranch/farm for themselves. If the desire is true, the way to do it will be figured out.

we're told our standing seam metal roofing materials will be delivered on Tuesday Oct 25th. don't have to surrender the Lull til Friday Oct 28th. REALLY hoping we'll be able to get the majority of the metal roofing up by then!! so now its 'all hands on deck'!!! looking like we might just get the garage under roof by snow fall

Well, we have finally decided on a site to build our starter cabin. We already have the driveway in, so that helps. The starter cabin will just possibly be 12 by 16. We have the trees marked as well, which are actually decent size, bigger than we expected. This is why the starter cabin has gone up a bit in size. We won't know the actual size until after the trees are cut. For the starter we are just using the cedar trees on our property. For the actual house, we will be purchasing most likely ...
