BC, Canada Log Builders??

Greetings Folks!
Hope this finds you all in good spirit.
I just took the Sept course in L.V and stoked that i did.
My question is to any BC log builders out there.
Is there a way of getting logs from the forestry folk like in the U.S? Is there a website i can visit with acquiring logs at a good price? I live in the Whistler area and look to build around Birken/Gold Bridge.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome fellow Canadian.

I agree with Timber on that, as well as any other on-line classified's in your area. As well, try any of the smaller, local papers that are often distributed around the country free weekly. That's how I found my logs. $50 worth of ads covered about 500 sq KM and got me about 40 phone calls. One of them ended up becoming my logger, and he was only 30 mins away.

You're lucky to be in BC, you got righteous trees out there.
