Okay, i admit it. I am addicted to learning about log home building, and plan on taking the class in Sept. However, I am absorbing everything I can now. There are no good butt and pass log home videos on Utube to watch. If anyone has posted any please let me know. I would love to watch them, probably over and over.

Builderguy, Thanks for watching. Our place is not finished yet. I am one of the slow ones on this site. Sorry there's not more LHBA video sharing going on. Once you're a member, you'll have access to a bunch of videos and blogs. Here's one more to keep you going for awhile.

Let me ask a question. I am planning on going to the september class. I am paying for it in a few weeks. Once I PAY can I get on the member side?

good morning Builderguy. I asked the same question when I was waiting for our class. sadly, the answer is no. you cannot get access to the members side until after you've taken the class. I think the rationale for that is because without the foundation fo the class under your belt, a lot of the concepts on the members side won't make a lot of sense. sorry about that!

September is coming up in a big rush and it'll be worth the wait. Panderson is right on the money. You'll get so much more out of the members side if you grasp what everyone is writing about at the same level that they are writing it. I'm sure all the newbies will agree that there is plenty of time for it all to happen at the LHBA pace. We'll be glad to have you.

PS... I don't think it is just about the money. I think it is about setting the new members up for success. It worked for me.
