In the name of preservatin, I have donated our Historic Cabin to the Appomattox County Historical Society. The historical socitey doesn't have the manpower or funds to disassemble, relocate, and reassemble the cabin. Building movers determined the cabin will not survive a conventional building move. Are there any known LOG CABIN MOVERS in the south/central Virginia area? PLEASE ADVISE. Thanks.

Ramblingman 502, are you there? I'm hoping so because you answered an old post that inquired about "MOVING A CABIN". You mentioned knowing about someone in GA who purchased, moved, and sold cabins. Your response said you couldn't find his info but he could be found in CL. Sorry, I'm not good with the meaning of letters used in texting or new aged shorthand, so please tell me what "CL" means. Does CL stand for perhaps, classified listing? I'm hoping you came across that name and can help me with it? I am looking to have a log cabin moved in south central VA. PLEASE ADVISE, THANKS!!

its short for Craigs list.... like omaha.craigslist.org -- or in your case http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/va
for Virginia.

Good luck with that.
