Design ideas... almost like Skip... IMHO.

Look at the simple roof design... gable ends...
Look at the huge overhangs... maybe to protect the glass during the summer.
Post and beam construction .. with some timber frame stuff...
Lots of layers and covered porch... I bet they have a better name for them.
They would really cool with Western Red Cedar logs as a base.
It would be interesting log home design...Hummm....
I like the open features.

I like it Dave!
I can only imagine the 'glass' bill on a 35x35 done like that. Lots to like on those pics. I love the chains coming down from the massive V gutters! I wonder how well that directs water down?
Good stuff.

There is a place called Hike Inn off the southern end of the Appalachian trail where you can stay with reservations made a long time in advance. It uses all kinds of self sustaining ideas and one thing they do is collect the water off the roof with chains dropped into collection barrels, seems to work well and more interesting than gutters. Cool place to visit for anyone in this neck of the woods. Easy trail from Amicalola Falls in north GA. is about 5 miles to the Inn. They even have an earthworm farm in the basement that they feed the garbage to.

They also have hundreds and hundreds of miles of newly built ATV trails. The new trails are keeping some towns in money. Bringing in thousands of new visitors to the area.

They are getting the visitors that were locked out of this area buy the EPA. The whole Tellico ORV area has been closed down and decommissioned, roads are being grassed in and either blocked by rocks or mounds. It has about destroyed the whole economy of Murphy NC. I hate it for the town but it makes it a lot quieter for us since we are only a mile from the main parking area for the trails. We used to have clubs of 100 or more jeeps come thru here on any given weekend.
