I was wondering what the best way to get from the airport to the hotel was. I think I may have it figured out but am willing to listen to the wisdom of those who have been there to take the class. Advice?

I intend to take a cab unless the Hotel has a shuttle. As I recall it's not very far from the Airport to the main strip where Harrah's is.

There are 3 basic options, city bus, shuttle, cab. City bus is the cheapest but very inconvenient, Shuttles are pretty cheap, check with the hotel you are staying at for the schedule. If you can, get one that only stops at your hotel, so you don't have to stop at 15 places on the way. A cab would be about $15-20 to most strip hotels depending on traffic, also depending on how many flights arrive at the same time as yours there may be a long line for cabs, but at least you don't have to squeeze in a shuttle with a filthy stinking mass of humanity. Also, if you do take a cab make sure he doesn't take the freeway. For the money/ time shuttles are usually your best bet. The run constantly and they should be $5-$6.

I have used grayline before. $12.00 round trip per person on a shuttle van. Airport is very close to strip and they depart from the airport every 15 minutes. You can book in advance at grayline.com.

We attended the first Las Vegas class and spent about 20$ each trip with a cab, including tip. More convenient than shuttles or bus. Just my 2 cents worth. Also hope if you have a significant other that you are taking them.

B52, there's a shuttle from the airport. 6.50 - 8 bucks.

After I got off my flight I tried to save a few bucks and took the shuttle. Bad idea. I spent 45 minutes waiting after a long flight being herded around with a circus of people in cattle lines trying to take a shuttle for 7 bucks(i forget). I took the cab on the way back and with tip it came out to 20 dollars or less.

Have fun! the class was an awesome experience.
