Anyone know of Log Wholesaler, shipping logs to my location, etc?

Hello. I'm hoping to attend a class in 2012 and have been doing research for about 3 years now. I'm wondering if anyone can steer me to a log dealer.
Also, does anyone know the cost to have them shipped to your location? I know this is different for us all, but an average would help. I'm trying to decide if I should buy some property with standing timber, and harvest myself, or buy the logs outright.

Hopeful, the answer the "list" will give you will say to wait until you take the class..... There is so much information that you will need and digest in the class. Having taken the class...I would take land with trees.. Please take the class to find out what kind, size, length and when to harvest. I know, there is a whole lot to learn. It will all come in a flash and the class is so entirely worth it. In the mean time ...read everything you can find on this web site.
