Uh... hate to be the nerdy kid standing lost in the hallway when class starts.
Are we going to get an email or something with a start time and room number ?
Any non official meet and greet or cocktail hour in the evenings before or after class?

We usually send out an orientation email about a week before the class.
The short version is: show up at Harrah's Las Vegas Saturday morning (January 15) at 8:30am for registration and coffee. Class starts at 9am. Same goes for Sunday.
The hotel reserves the right to move our conference room around up until the event, so to find us just follow hotel signs to their conference center, then check the monitors for the Log Home Builders Association meeting.
If there's a get-together I suspect it's more common on Sat or Sun night after the class. People might meet up at the class and then go out for a late dinner or something afterwards.
