I have not taken the class yet but would like a heads up when I do. That being said, I am looking for books to fill my nightstand with. What books would you, in your opinion, be worth reading? Are there any books that are brought up in class that are recommended?
Only books pertaining to log building please(just so there is no confusion. lol). I know that B+P is the style of choice on this forum but please do not hesitate with any books that promote other styles.
Thanks
-Ryan

Here are a few of the books I have found them to be helpful.
~ Your Low-Tax Dream House ~ Log Home Construction Manual ~Build You Own Low-Cost Log Home ~Foundations and Concrete Work ~Be Your Own House Contractor

Also books on Wiring, Plumbing and Framing would be good to use also!

The only book i used in my construction was "do it yourself housebuilding", but i don't remember the author. Got it at amazon. The pages on how to step off rafters and how to calculate rise and run on stairways are absolutely worn out.
