allright, im looking for some help in designing a floor plan... its allot harder than i thought it would be.
im working on a floor plan for a duplex, size of the structure is 30'X100'
it is divded in half, so each unit would be 30X50, leaving 1500 square feet.
i would like to pull off a 2 bed, 1.5 bath, decent size kitchen, and a central gret room.
they way the building is layed out with the driveway, the main entrance will be on the 50' side, and the units sharing a 30' wall.
i looked around for a website that could help me, and i found that had some ok plans, but its hard finding plans for a simple rectangle.
so, if anyone knows of a good site, or is just good at this kind of thing, some input would be awsome

THANK YOU
-ANDREW MASON.

Andrew,
You could always foind a 30X50 plan that you like and then just "mirror" it on the other side.
Thats an awful LARGE duplex. I'm assuimng that it is going to just be 1 story with no "usable" space above. But the "mirror" idea has helped me with several projects beore.

JD, you are correct on both accords... single story, no overhead.
i have been planing on using the mirror idea.

i have found a website that allows me to make my own floor plan... its just frustrating... that all.
