cordwood building with log ends & log scraps

has anyone done any building with log ends & log scraps as in cordwood building , using papercrete mortar. i am a divorced mother of 2 small chidren. i am looking into all alterative building methods and this one has really gotten my attention.

Attended Class March 25th/26th of 2006. If you are gonna be dumb, you better be TOUGH

Coodwood is still not out of the question for me primarly the cost issue of full logs here in West Tn, but I am still hoping to remedy that :-)! I found this home. It is make of cedar rounds. I believe this is called cord wood construction. The entire home is about 70 years old and is built almost with out a foundation. Big problems because the rounds move around and leave holes. I have three additional photos and more on my computer...

We have 1 or 2 houses like this near my town. They look great! Would never live in one though lol
