I would like to take my family to see a nice Log Home somewhere here in the southeast. I live in the Tampa area so, anywhere close to that would be nice.

I would be glad to travel to a neighboring state if I had to.

Any ideas?

Do you and your family go on annual vacations? If so, perhaps planning a trip to Wallace Falls Lodge in Gold Bar, WA would be an idea. You have the benefit of staying in a real Skip inspired log lodge, and treating the family to a beautiful area of the country for a wonderful vacation.

Just a thought.

I would love to do that but it is not realistic for me at this time.

We have 6 kids ranging from 1mo - 13yrs. Trying to go that far would be too expensive and stressful at this time.

I think we could probbaly do that sometime on down the road.

For now I would like to do maybe a 2 day trip at the most and we would be able to do it.

I have heard that Tenn. has a good amount of Log Homes. It would be nice if there was someone closer. Even an owner who would be willing to give us a brief tour would be nice.
