I get the problems with log home kits and the manufacturers, but I also noticed that log home handcrafters are not allowed in the association or to attend the class either. Why not, isnt that what we do, hand craft our own homes? Are they using different techniques that produce an inferior home? I know they build a house on their site and then take it apart to assemble it on the buyers lot and charge way too much money for that but please fill me in on why the LHBA doesn't agree with what they're doing.
