Greg (and others),
Get your pencil hands ready, though with the new notebooks (not available in 1999 when I took the class) I think you should be alot better off.
You will learn alot and I recommend that you ask as many questions as you can. Start writing them down now.
Peruse this website and "stock up" on the knowledge here.
And JUST ENJOY IT.

If your anything like me you cannot wait and time go,s slow. See you in class.
I have been out of the class room environment for some time now but if I sit at the front maybe I will see the teacher.
This takes me back

My husband and I went last weekend in May. YES it was REALLY hard to wait, but SO worth it. Have fun! watch out for FANG and enjoy Skip's special-recipe cookies:)

I'll be seeing you all in in a week as well. It is very exciting. I've been researching everthing "log home" online for months now. Have a safe trip everyone.

As expected the class lived up to everything I wanted and some!! I even ran out out ink in one of my pens, just as well I took more than one!

It was informative and practical with information that you would not have expected, tips and information that most people would have kept to themselves! so a big BIG thank you to Mr E!! Steve!! and not forgetting the guys at the lodge, what a great weekend, we made so many new friends and now can't wait to build!!!!
