Well, I did it!! After watching and participating in this site for about a year, working 2 jobs, paying off debt, and saving for the LHBA Class--I finally did it! I am registered, and have paid for the April 29 & 30 class. I've also booked my flight. I am so very excited! Is there anyone else out there attending that weekday class?

Very very cool!! We're practically neighbors up in central NY. I'm going up there this spring (end of May) to mark some trees out in the back 11. Maybe you'ld like to come up for a day to march around the woods with me and a GPS? (Log hunting OJT!)

Hi Anne:

Yes, my husband is attending. He had planned to do the class this past weekend, but unfortunately - his father passed away last week & so, of course, could not go to WA.

We have yet to decide if I will also go or not.
He can hardly wait!

I've read enough of your posts to almost know you.
Your fine work with finances has a fine reward - the LHBA class and more! I admire your determination and guts...
Keep the momentum going...we are pulling for you.

I took the class about a year ago and just bought my land straight out last week, after thinking it would take years. Talk about surprises in life - they will happen just when you think nothing's happening...so stay focused. You will be extra blessed in ways seen and unseen. :)

Thanks so much for the encouraging words, gypsycat. I truly appreciate them! Working 2 jobs has really begun to wear on me, but I also know it has paid off tremendously. I was looking at about 3 years before being debt free. The second job cut that time frame in half! I still have the car to pay off, but I'll begin doubling up on those payments in May.

And congratulations to you on your land purchase!! You must be totally thrilled! May your efforts reap beautiful benefits for you.
