advice re: building site

I'm hoping someone can tell me if an alternative septic system (mound...?) cight help me get my house closer to the front of the attached property. We love the subdivision but we gotta figure out if a house can be placed somewhere other than the back of the lot...

Hi Dave, Be a little more specific, like where your at, define "mound" maybe called something else, a common name. here we used septic system which is usually 2, 500 gal. underground tanks with appropriate lateral lines for despensing waste, the lines usually are figured by the installer as per a perk test or soil absorbtion rate and number of persons using the house usually counted by 2,3 or # of bedrooms and sq. ft.
