finding logs for log cabin

we are tring to locate a cheap place to purchase logs we are truck drivers so hauling shouldn't be a problem dont want to go with a kit cause we have only heard bad things about them we posted in more detail as we introduced ourselves any reply or advise would be great thank you

depends very much on who you know. you guys probably know some truckers who get around to the PNW. we have LOTS of logs out here, and with the economy/housing as it is, you can pick them up cheap. The first step in your quest is to ask around. You'll be surprised what you find.

Several of our members in Colorado have gotten logs from the beetle kill areas there in Colorado. It's an option to look in to.
