What 'O what is a person to do if all your logs you have are petrified? Or if you live in one of those countries that has surplus concrete telephone poles. Surely the poor ol' Stihl isn't gonna want to be gnawing on that. But wait! A chain saw for masonry?!?!?! Yep, right here! (http://www.icsbestway.com/en/products/index.htm)

I saw some of these today. Had no idea such an animal existed. Pretty crazy, eh?

Or you can make your own petrified wood. :-)
I'd love to do this with some cedar shakes and make them fire proof.

A petrified log home, possibly next to a peat bog?

That sounds kinda cool. Something neolithic about it.

Why not a slate roof?

Hey Rod, remember these? :-)

Maybe you can use that saw on some.

Hey, why is it when I see the word "cultured" tied with the word "logs," I think of something born in algae filled vats?

I wonder if King Neptune has a lodge built out of the stuff?

and how the heck can their process be more "environmentally friendly" than trees growing in a forest.

A good case of science and marketing reacting to a "problem" that does not exist and feeding it to the uneducated public in order to make money by playing the guilt card.

Luckily LHBA members are smarter than that.
