That's odd, I think I received the email notification last Friday(apr 4).

Glad to see you've signed up. Now comes the hard part- waiting. ; )

I only signed up for email notifications monday so that's probbaly why I didnt get one.

I dont think waiting is going to be that hard for me since I'm so insanely busy right now. Between now and then I'm so swamped I wont be able to come up for air. The time will fly :)

Honestly I kinda lucked out that it's over memorial day... if not I probably couldnt get enough time off work.

Be sure to sit at the front of the class, less distractions (cookies & all).

& be sure to bring a flashlight :) Enjoy the class.

I signed up for the Memorial weekend class and now need to find someplace to stay. I am a non-smoking, 57 about to celebrate 58yo female that is coming from Tacoma, WA. I would really appreciate it if I could perhaps park my mini van somewhere and I could sleep in it but would need to use a bathroom for 2 nites and in the am. Is there a campground near by or something? I am thinking of just pulling out the seats in the car and making up a bed in it. It's pretty comfy that way when you throw in the feather bed on top of the futon mats. I was thinking of going up there on Friday night so I don't have to get up so early to get there on Saturday. Thanks for the info. I have been waiting for many years to be able to afford this class and can hardly wait for it to come now.

Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest has some campsites. They are a fair hike past Monroe on Hwy 2, but can be very peaceful and pretty: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/mbs/recreation/activities/campgrounds/skykomish.shtml Money Creek, near the town of Skykomish is probably the closest. I've stayed at Money Creek - it's beautiful.
