Hi All
Name is Bill and I am flying over to Seattle in November for the two day course.
Any helpful advice on a nice quiet place to stay near the Ranch.
The ones on the net are very Travelodge types, there must be a nice local Guest house that is reasonable for a short stay.
Also any hints on clothing and footware for your Washington weather. Do I prepare as for a Scottish Winter or pack the sun lotion.
Just thinking of packing too much for the trip.

Cheers for Now
Bill P.

I stayed at the gaylord house bed and breakfast. About a 35 minute drive from the class. It was great! http://www.gaylordhouse.com/
Mention the class, they used to give a 10 percent discount. For 5 bucks or so more, you can get the brown bag lunch which is more food than you could eat.

If you want a real authentice stay http://www.wallacefallslodge.com/ built by a former member.

I'd dress for 'winter', depending on where you are from. Take along a pair of slippers, you have to take your shoes off - hollowed ground, I suppose. Actually, keeps the place clean. Sit in the front, don't hang out in the back with the famous cookies!

Kay at the Gaylord house is fantastic- and the beds are comfy. The Wallace Falls lodge is great as well if they're not booked for a wedding. Both places serve excellent breakfasts. There are a few other threads with much more information that were posted back in the spring IIRC.

Hi Again

Gaylordhouse seems to be the best for food and lodgings, so I will try and get a room for the few days I am over visiting.
Thanks for the info. and hope to keep in touch in the future.
