Hi

Looks like I will be going to the Oct. class and wanted to know what options (if any) one can use if hearing loss in both ears is an issue, as it is with me. My hearing aides do not give me much range at all, and while I could buy a device to work around this, the "what not to bring" list seems to indicate that this might not be doable. At any rate thought I should ask.

The room isn't huge (as far as what classroom sizes could be)....
make sure to get there a bit early & sit at the front row or two, you should be OK with your hearing aids.

I too have hearing loss in both ears and have a hearing aid that I usually wear when I'm in a large room, class room or conference. I took it with me but was able to sit in the first seat at the front of the table and didn't need to wear it. Like Shark said make it a point to sit near the front of the table if for some reason you don't get the first seat or two don't be afraid to speak up and ask someone if they would switch with you.

PS...it might not hurt to ask the administrators in a seperate email if they can accomodate you in any way.

When I went last year, they had microphones and speakers around the room. I was sitting in the very back of the room and could hear fine, but I have no noticeable hearing problems...
