I am a long way before I could invest in a log home. But I like the idea of building one myself. I am just thinking that working with somebody who is building a log home is the best way to learn. What is your opinion about it? Would anybody consider taking help from an amateur?
I helped a friend to put hardwood flooring once in Italy. I learnt a lot and my friend was very happy that the work got done a lot faster with my help.
I am wondering if that is an option with learning to build log homes in the US?
