I'm trying to convince my friends that live out there to go check it out.

We did get to go to Camp 18 when we visited them a month or so ago, be sure to try the cinnamon bun, it's almost a meal itself!

Ehh, doesn't look like too far a run for you, what, maybe 60 miles? A lot closer than the 2910 miles it would take for me to get out there.

I live on the SE side of Portland so it's more like 70-80 miles. But unfortunately I have to go around Portland to get on the freeway where Camp 18 is. It would probably take me 1:30 to 1:45 hours to get there. :-(

I think the cool part of Doug Fir is in the basement. I was there once but only in the upstairs, so I didn't see that part! Now the name makes sense. :P
