Use the search button at the top of the page and type in "beetle" for the keyword search. There's a wealth of information. I tried to post search results, but the site wouldn't let me.

As Basil said there is a wealth of info on it here if you search. However the simple answer is usually yes.
Personally I do not care for the blue/black stain on them. Some are really funky looking to, almost black. I am also concerned that the blue/black color is a signature of fungi/mold. I just wonder if that would be a problem later down the road.
Would bleaching these logs kill the fungi and eliminate the bluestain?

I think there was something mentioned about only using them if they've been dead for 1-2 years. After that you don't want to use them.
(not sure if that's for beetle kill or forest fire logs or both.)
