It's official, we've got land!

We just signed papers today closing the deal. We now own 20 acres in the Arkansas Ozarks just north of Clinton, Arkansas. It's the same piece of land I've mentioned in other posts (20 acres, well, electricity, creek, rock bluffs, rickety old storage building - $1300/acre) but it is now official. Now I just have to wait until the 2008 LHBA class schedule comes out!

While I would love to attend the June30-July1 class, it is during that time that my wife and I are going to rent a cabin in the Ozarks to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. She's all for me attending the class, but if I let it cut into our anniversary celebration, I'll most likely get a frying pan upside the head while I sleep.

Also, between purchasing this land, taking the family to Disney World, and the rental cabin in the mountains for our anniversary, my 2007 budget is spent. I'm pretty much gonna have to wait until 2008.

Take her with. Stay at the Wallace lodge or rent a cabin up there. It's well worth the money!

Congrats on the land deal and the anniversery. I can't think of a better anniversery present then to attend the class with your wife and stay at the Wallace lodge :P
