My son and I took the April 4,5 class. Great time. We stayed at the Gaylord Inn in Everett. Took about an hour to get to the inn from Seatac (non-rush hour traffic). Took about 20 minutes to get from the inn to the class site. Going from Everett toward Monroe is against morning traffic so no problems there.
Regarding the Gaylord Inn, they are great because the hosts are friendly, the breakfasts are top-notch, plenty of hot water in the showers, pack a great lunch for the Log Home Building seminar at request, and provide a bottle of delicious sherry in the library for a nightcap after a hard day of learning.
