We are an organization of log home builders that use real logs. Hence no replys to your message. So here goes. When I was doing my original research I thought that a composite type log solved many of the problems inherent in log home building. I have sense found out that they do solve many problems but they also have problems of their own...

This forum advocates using real logs and pins them with steel. It is an educational forum.
