I'm currently in discussions with LogCabinHomes of Lake Monroe Florida for a log home package. I ahve researched the Better Business Bureau and the Bad Business Bureau to make sure they are a respectable dependable company. Has anyone heard or are aware of this company either postive or negative?

Haven't heard of them, but get 10 references from them of homes that were built in your area. Go and talk to the occupants/owners. See what they think. Sometimes, complaints won't go as far as the BBB but are resolved before that with the company or (watch out in your contract) are required to use arbitration. You also must watch out for where, if any, the cases are going to be held if you do end up in court. You may find yourself in Delaware, if that's where they are incorporated. Buyer beware.
