Consider all the possible reasons why a lawyer might have designed a law to nullify Hitler from arguments on the internet.

Consider why/how it was so successfully and widely adopted.

Consider all the possible long term effects of that law, since 1991, on four subsequent generations.

Consider all the possible effects upon society such a law creates over time, when adopted hard and fast.

[This is as close to independently arrived thought as is possible. I know others have already arrived at similar questions, and have surely expressed them similarly to how I have done in the words above. I have not seen, or sought, the areas of the web where such debates have taken place and I have no plans to. The 'light' web is dark enough for me.]
