Tips for bringing your drill press home:

Tip one: if you're using a newly purchased used trailer, and it's your first experience with torsion axles, think about loading up 1000 lb of dead weight before you roll away from home.
Otherwise the trailer might ride with a lot of hop to it.

I've moved a few by laying them down. Every time I bust or bend something.
I've moved one upright with the head on. You may have read about that on another thread, it was a slow drive home.

I suppose ideally I should remove the head and table and haul the drill press as 3 individual parts.
That's probably the slowest, safest option.

Do you have any other ideas or experiences on the topic?
