Getting Logs in Montana

Hello! We are ready to get logs here in Eastern Montana, but are having a hard time finding a resource. Has anyone else in MT built their home here and where did you get your logs? Thanks! The Bell Family :o

hi there Ms Bell. are you one of the folks who took the class this past weekend? if so, email admin so they can get you access to the members side! on the members side there's a 'rolodex' that contains great info like contact info of loggers/shippers :)

Here are a couple of craigslist ads I have been watching. We aren't ready for logs yet, so haven't contacted them. I would be a bit concerned about those in the first post as I think they have been down for a while. The second post is from Ryegate, I think, so would be considerably closer to you. When I get home I'll send you one other, but from Drummond so a bit of a haul, but I think they were asking $700 for the full truck load of logs (not sure of count), and those were lodge pole that were standing dead.
