Plans for building commissions

Taking the class in May 2016, but trying to get ahead because where my building site is, I need to go through 3 different build commissions in order to get a building permit. Would like to start this process ahead of time or I will miss the summer building season. Where can I find building plans that will have the necessary detail to satisfy inspectors. I need details of floor system, roof system, wall cross-sections, etc. Anybody know where these are available? Thanks

Enough plans to wallpaper a whole house! I believe it's one of the thickest (and certainly most detailed) stack of papers I have.

The plans are available only in the members store. I suppose there might be a way around it but I think it would be a calamity in the making. If you are committed to doing this thing, you'll want to be well versed in how (and why) it works before you attempt running the gauntlet of agencies. I say you have plenty of time and are right on scedule.

I am finding that there is LOTS that has to be done before I can even apply for my permit. My situation is a bit different as I already have an established property, but there is SO much to be done before I can even think about getting my permit. Work on those preliminary things until you get to class and you'll still be ahead.
