Log home tour in Orange County, CA area?

Hello,
I am enthralled with log homes (natural construction in general), and am anxious to take the course and build. My husband needs some convincing. We currently live in Mexico, but will be in Orange County, California (south of Los Angeles) from March 21-April 2. I am wondering if anyone has built a log home in that area, that we could go see in person? Thanks!

I think the folks who built in Big Bear also sold that house, so they are no longer there.

when I first stumbled on the LHBA website (while researching 'kit' homes) we were in the same boat ( I loved the idea but DH was less than enthusiastic).
while he was extremely doubtful, he felt the cost of the class was a small price to pay for harmony in the marriage so he indulged me and we took the class.
by noon on day one he was a convert.

if you're up for a road trip, come see our build. the 36x36 garage is finished ...well sort of, we're still framing in the work room..
and the 35x35 cabin is under roof:)

Although I haven't looked for any, I have lived here for the last 44 years and have to say, I haven't seen a log home in OC during that time.

Bo is fairly close to Orange County and there is strong evidence that his building inspector was a native of southern California.
