"Our next class will be Sept 5 & 6, (Sat/Sun), 2015 in Las Vegas." What happened to, "June 6 & 7 (Sat/Sun), 2015 Last class of the season!" and, "No classes until Fall/Winter 2016!"

???? :-D

Supply and demand, I'd guess.

Or maybe they was thinking that September was close enough to fall/winter 2016.

Just take the class and be glad they're successful enough to give change back if you need it. I stopped in to a 8:00am yard sale this morning at 9:30am. They hadn't sold enough to give back $16 change.

The first day of summer isn't until June 21, so the June 5/6 class was the last class of the spring season. However what we meant by that was more broadly that it was the last class prior to the 2015 summer "building season" (which it was).

The "no classes until Fall, or Winter 2016" is (granted) an awkward phrasing, but the meaning was that the next class would be around fall (of 2015) or winter (this winter, which spans into 2016). That was a vague guess from months ago when we posted the June class, and since then we decided Labor Day weekend would be the next class date. Not too far off from fall, and really not a bad prediction from months ago.

Take an extra day or two and rent a car. You gotta see the Dam and check out Red Rock Canyon at the very least. Vegas is not the West.

I'm a procrastinator... If you aren't scared to wait it out you may get a better deal. There's also plenty of friendly hobos you could sleep on the sidewalk next to. I think my room averaged out to about $90 per night. I'll have to check which website I booked thru. I booked it separate from my flight. Hard to beat $30 a night at a regular crummy motel but I got to watch tv in the shower.

A man I worked for a few years ago told me a story about going into a nice hotel and they either didn't have a room or it was crazy expensive. He went and sat in their lobby, used his laptop with their wifi and booked a room for about a third of their normal rate and went back to the desk with a reservation 5 minutes later.

We have been watching the flights daily and they are up then down... so hard to commit when you keep hearing they are going down..

This might sound crazy but i just thought to myself i want to do this and it feels right, so if it is right i will make it there and back again.

We WILL make it there and back... I just want to do it at the best rate possible. :) maybe I just need to bite the bullet, pay the price and not look again to see what I may have saved......

MPeterson, you'll be saving PENNIES compared to what you'll save just by what you learn in class:) welcome aboard

Your whole life starts over every half second with a fresh start and then you make your way forward. Any bargain you missed is just a memory and any steal of a deal is something to brag about for the rest of your life.

By the way... MPeterson... panderson.... Am I the only one who thinks you two have weirdly similar names in an oddly opposite sounding way? Related?

Well, I can totally understand your lack of committing if they are going down unexpectedly.

Well, thanks to my wonderfully smart Jamesp we did end up saving some money. We could have saved more if I didn't procrastinate.. :( He had the novel idea of checking a third airport that is only 20 miles further away in distance than the one we were trying to go out of. So we fly out from Cleveland instead of Pittsburgh. :) Wow.. who would have thought there could be such a difference in airfares? So we are all set to come!!!! We will be getting there Thursday morning and will be able to just relax that evening and Friday. Now to check out the restaurants..... lol

I said to heck with it and decided to drive all the way from Texas, besides I'm not much of a fan of the T.S.A.
