Anyone know using it he 11 amp Chicago electric hammer drill from harbor freight to drive rebar in. It's on sale for $299 which is way cheaper than millwakie for $914. It's 35lbs which is similar to the discontinued Chicago electric from a few years ago.

We have one. It works as well as the old one but not a whole lot better for us. Don't spend a lot of money trying to find a bit. just cut off one of the bits and get a high pressure hydrolic hose of the right size and cut a couple of inches and slide it on the bit. We had to replace the hose clamp a couple of times but it worked better than any of the bits we bought.

Thanks Mossy. I looked at the unit yesterday and it looks like a beast. I was just ordering about the bit. I hope the motor lasts long enough to finish the project and then some.

Be Sure To Buy The Extended Warrenty . We Have Traded Ours Twice. Since We Are About Done With Rebar We Will Trade It One More Time Since It Is Leaking Oil Again.

No worries on the level of commitment. Lot is purchased and waiting for me in the spring. Waited half a lifetime to begin.

Yes that is a good plan. I'm looking at the $299 one. 34lbs. I now see they have the full on jack hammer at 55lbs for $399. The big jack hammer looks way to big for the application.
