Hello All!
I work for an architectural firm in Ohio and we're working on a plank and beam style home. I have a couple questions as to the structural plank flooring. We are using a 2" tongue and groove, solid spruce wood flooring system, with beam/joists every 3'-8" O.C. (Please see attached photos)
My question is what would be the best way to reduce potential squeaking in this type of system? I've never done one before and neither has the contractor. I'm just trying to get input so that we can look at all the possible solutions and go with the one that makes the most sense.
Please feel free to ask any questions or if anything is unclear.
Thank you!
