Thanks, Rod!
Yes, a long tome indeed. And now I know first-hand how the countdown feels like a long time, too. :-)

Well it is about time! I told the Wife I wasn't doing a lick of work on our build until that rascal, donjuedo, went to class.
Now there's only three more of you to go and I can finally get to work again.
PS... May I extend an early "welcome aboard" to you.

Ahhhh that feeling!! Now the most difficult part is "the wait". Keep yourself busy reading here if you've not read all already. Congrats on taking that plunge and registering. You are in for an UNREAL weekend and then a welcome to the members side. Welcome aboard!

Thanks. I read "What's New" every day, often more frequently. Checking out flights and hotel comes next (got the LHBA email on it soon after placing order).

I think better still, is to go find something else to occupy your time until the big day arrives. Getting your mind completely off being reminded of how long a wait it is, is often the best way to speed up time.
Ever think about blacksmithing? ;)

LOL Rod or welding, or stained glass, or diy installing tile, or learning to operate a backhoe, or researching underbrush cutters, or making log furniture with a log tenon cutter, or THE BEST recipe in the world for.......muffins! or forming a rocket stove out of raw materials, or putting in a survival garden, or aquaponics, or building an outdoor wood fired oven, or building a low flow hydroelectric generator, or installing your own solar panels, or or or or or...........

That's a bit extreme, Dan. We already have an unlimited supply of THE BEST muffins from the muffin store. No recipe required.

Funny you should say that ... just today one of my co-workers started telling me about blacksmithing, and I had not brought it up at all. :-D

They do, but the minimum order is 640,000 lbs... Probably easier for you to just run up to Mathews or Charlotte and get 'em by the dozen. Both locations also have a gas station, pharmacy and food court for your convenience.
ha ha
No personal commercial connection to the muffin store... Just an employee and stockholder.

I finished the class last Sunday (it was really great!), and now I see on the Members' side, there is SOOOOOOO much reading, it seems I can never finish. But, like eating an elephant one bite at a time, I will keep reading one post at a time.
