    Solar "pop/beer" can heater

    Sorry if this was already posted but I couldn't find anything so here it is once again.

    Looks pretty easy to build, low cost, & would be a good supplement for cold weather heating.

    Yep, that's a cheap, easy way to provide supplemental heat. It's something I've been thinking about myself. Living in an RV though the winter is going to require a lot of energy, and I really don't want to pour money down the drain buying propane to heat this poorly insulated little box on wheels. Cans would help immensely. However, I do already have my solar thermal collectors for domestic hot water. I will probably use them for supplemental RV heating in the mean time. By adding a storage tank, I can extend the heating period. I figure I can just install a small radiator in the intake portion of the RV's heating ductwork.

    anyone built one yet? im

    anyone built one yet? im thinking of trying to build 1, 2, or mabe even 3 of these for my new house. all it has is a small wall heater, and thats it.
