    Dovetail Joint Cabin

Most of the log houses that I have seen in the South employ dovetail joints. So when this video appeared in my feed, I found it interesting and I thought I would share.

I believe there is a few variations of that joint too, from what I’ve seen... This log (one of my priceless, prized, possessions) was used as a bench at my friends memorial service and was given to me afterwards. Hand hewn, and still has some bark on it! Came from a cabin that was built pre- American civil war.

Very cool, also cool that a youngun like you values it. So many don't value old stuff or people
