I forget how long ago I had TV....10 or 15 years ago. I don't miss it a bit. However.....when I am in the airport or a restaurant I find myself being drawn to the TV like a moth to a candle. Very disconcerting

I gave up the drama box in 2013. (back when Discovery Channel stopped being an educational channel, and when the History Channel stopped being a history channel, AND when a channel called TRU TV came out with scripted "reality tv" that is anything but reality) Anyhow, yes, not missed at all, but like BigD says, when at a restaurant or such, I too find myself drawn to watch, though, usually find myself depressed at what I'm seeing, reminding me why I ditched it in the first place.

Discovery is still very educational. I learned about Bigfoot and Ghosts tonight. Then I turned to History Channel and learned about ancient aliens and more Bigfoot! Man, that guy is everywhere!

We just have the basic local channels. Anytime I get tempted to get more, I just go to my parents' house where they have a crap ton of channels and still find myself either a)not watching it at all, or b) flipping through 200+ channels and thinking "man there is nothing good on to watch". Reminds me why I don't pay the money for it.

Besides, I happen to enjoy a lot of the PBS cooking shows.

When you have feet that big, you can really get around.
