I'm so glad both of you will be taking the class together. husband and wife on the same page is a beautiful thing!
perhaps this could be a mini second-honeymoon?

will send prayers that your children in the care of their grandparents are thoughtful and kind, and for patience on behalf of the adults!

    welcome to the family

Well got my vacation approved by the overlords at work so looks like that is taken care of. Just waiting on my July paycheck to round out my savings and pay for class. I will be driving from Arkansas for the trip since I don't have the funds for a flight right now due to family developments recently, But regardless I am looking forward to it, I am trying to get the wife to go, I told her if she goes we can stop by the big ol' ditch in Arizona and she seemed to like that so maybe I have her convinced! Plus if she is willing to drive its less likely I will have to sleep in a truckstop parking lot which is a plus! And she gets discounts on hotels so that will save me a pretty penny as well. If all else fails I will be there sleeping in my car

Tell the Wife that if she goes to class, you won't be tempted by any of those "lot lizards" (look it up, Bo).

It'll be nice to meet you on the other side of the forum.
Every time I have strayed from the teachings of Skip Ellsworth it has cost me money.

I love the mask mandate. I hardly ever have to bruh my teeth anymore.

Don't think I need to add anything, but it does remind me of when I took the class back in Feb of this year. Truly transformative. My life has two parts now: before the class, and after the class. I went in having a pretty good idea what I was going to learn (studied almost every home building method for about 15 years prior to the class, settled on B&P about 10 years ago, so there were no real surprises). Regardless, I took copious amounts of notes- filled the book with them just to be sure I didn't miss anything. But I don't think it's so much the method as it is the idea of doing it debt free. More than knowledge, the class gave me the confidence that I can do this. And the folks on the forum are truly wonderful (and colorful) people. Anyway, enjoy the class!

    Andrew,
There are several of us members in Colorado, some finished, some building and some getting ready. See you on the members side in a few short weeks.
