please what kind of log is the strongest
douglas fir is one of the best, I think.
follow building codes, use metal flashing between your foundation and the logs. get the logs as high off the ground as you can (18 inches is good!), treat your logs, cut back the trees and brush around the perimeter of your home.
best of luck!
Arrgh! Just pushed back on my phone.
1. Termidor is the most severe agent you can get (in most areas without a license)

What do you mean?
1. Against bugs: cedar or cypress
2. Just "strongest": some kind of rainforest wood, maybe "ironwood".
3. Strongest in bending likely to be used in a log home: Doug Fir and Larch both have high strengths.

Oh great... Now Bo and Tom are gonna get Rod and PeeCee involved in a mongo thread hijack. How can we avoid this fiasco?
Every time I have strayed from the teachings of Skip Ellsworth it has cost me money.
I love the mask mandate. I hardly ever have to bruh my teeth anymore.
