    Maybe a stupid question but..........

Im totally new here, but have been reading quite a bit. And a common thing Ive noticed is coloring your cement chinking. Could one use tile grout that is already colored for the chinking?

You clearly have not looked at mine! I would show you a picture but this stupid tap talk requires me to log in. Any way google flintlock1 and photobucket and you can see tan chinking. There are many ways to color gray or white cement as well as using synthetics to mask or color chinking.
My color is after the really old log homes that I have seen.

Ok I figured it out. It's tough getting old.

Any way, I'm sitting on my couch and see the chinking.

I really like that compared to the standard mortar.

Could thinset mortar be used, you an get it with flex additives and latex to promote adhesion to wood.

Good luck getting the thinset to stay up. Far too much slump.

    Nice flowers.
Every time I have strayed from the teachings of Skip Ellsworth it has cost me money.

I love the mask mandate. I hardly ever have to bruh my teeth anymore.
