Passive Solar - Solar Slabs

I searched through previous posts, but haven't found any references so . . . is anyone familiar with James Kachadorian and his 'solar slab' design? I read the book recently and it looks like something that might easily be integrated into a log home design, provided his theory really holds up. Here's a link to an article discussing him/his book:
